I'm Rebecca – the writer, sketcher and amateur photographer behind this bookish site.
I am fascinated with the creative process; the writers, thinkers and authors behind works of art. I love learning about how they get their ideas, manage their workflow, as well as their artistic advice, backgrounds, joys and challenges.
I love to gather where they speak and record down all their wisdom and inspiration – then share it on this blog.
I call my blog 'Drawing on the Creative Process', because it combines my love of literature and drawing, with my thirst for knowledge about the creative process.
My professional background is in journalism, communications and media – and I have spent several years living and working in New York.
